The functional portion of the building, including apparatus and support spaces, respond directly to the street allowing rapid and efficient vehicle access to the road. The apparatus bay accommodates four vehicle bays as well as additional spaces for bunker racks and hose drying while the administrative wing of the facility features equipment support spaces, a kitchen, washrooms, offices and a training room which accommodates up to 40 people.
