2012
$5.1 million
The only remaining Chateau-style prison in Canada, involved repairs to the masonry stone outer walls and concrete walls surrounding the facility. Our mandate also included the addition of a new front entrance that would replace the existing entrance built in the 1960s, respond more sensitively to the existing heritage façade, increase functionality of the space, provide improved visitor traffic flow into and out of the prison, and improve visibility and security for the guards.
