A renewed the existing amenities and reinvigoration of the park through the addition of recreational features, this project involved three main components: the demolition, redesign and reconstruction of a fieldhouse (housing a universal washroom, barrier-free washroom, open area skate changing room, park storage and mechanical/electrical room); a new skateboard park replacing the old basketball court; and a new canoe launch into the Rideau River.
